I am a Puerto Rican tattoo artist specializing in black and gray realism/surrealism style. My name is Jlis Blanco I was born and raised in Puerto Rico I am from the town of Ciales, I reside in Holland Michigan since 2011, Holland has become my home along with my beautiful family! It all started when I was a child, all my school notebooks were with drawings, without knowing that one day I would fall in love with tattooing and being able to make a work of art on human skin, it all started when I met my husband Aldo Blanco which has been an inspiration for me, he has helped me with his experience to grow and to look at every opportunity beyond a simple tattoo, “an experience that will remain in the skin marked for the rest of life”. I struggle day after day since my 3 great inspirations to continue are my 3 children Janiel, Gael and Nathan I want them to always see in me an example to follow and never give up on anything. All my tattoos are custom, conceptual designs based on brief ideas given by my clients. I love that my clients can take away forever a more unique and personalized piece.
