Originally from Traverse City, Audrey Kacel moves to Holland in 2015 to attend Hope college. she graduated cum laude in May 2019, receiving a BA in studio art and art history.

At the start of her college career, Audrey thought she was going to be an art therapist. However by Senior year she was unsure whether she wanted to be a part of the “pompous” contemporary art world at all. So she did the logical thing and left her studio manager position at the Holland Area Arts Council to pursue a career in tattooing.

Audrey is inspired primarily by the natural world. Her designs predominantly feature skulls, bugs, and various types of plants and flowers
